Lettering
add a personal touch to any space, business or event
Words with a personal touch.
Custom lettering brings personality to your space, business, or event—from expressive chalkboards to wall installations.
For businesses — Menus, directional signage, labels, and statement walls made to suit your brand.
For celebrations and spaces — Wedding signage, favorite quotes, and decorative lettering designed around your vision.
Selected installations include Seventh Mountain Resort and Suttle Tea. Have a project in mind? Let’s make it yours.
The Process
-
Step 1
I start by producing a scaled sketch based on what you're looking for. Once we decide it aligns with your vision and you give the okay, we move on to the next step.
-
Step 2
Then we recreate the piece on the chalkboard in regular chalk (Crayola dust-free is my go-to) so we have a guideline for the actual piece that can be easily erased.
-
Step 3
Then we go over the guidelines. Once we're done “inking,” we let it dry, and then erase the original guides with a soft dry cloth and then you have a gorgeous lettered chalkboard!
“Kristen has beautified our little indoor farmers market over the years with an exceptional blend of creativity and functionality in her designs. From chalkboards to faux window landscapes to directional signage, she has perfectly captured our brand in each and everything that she has done for us. Professional, timely, kind, and so incredibly talented, I cannot recommend Kristen from Chalked Creative enough. A true joy to work with!”
